At Marshall Academy, each day begins with an opening ceremony. When the bell is rung, the students assemble by class and the Headmaster leads them in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. Next, a patriotic or traditional American song is sung by all present followed by a student’s recitation from memory of a poem or literary work.
The educational program takes full advantage of the benefits of music instruction and appreciation. In addition to weekly music instruction, chorus and band instruction are also offered. All grades also participate in physical education and art.
Marshall Academy utilizes a unique hands-on approach to science. A firm grounding in U.S. History is achieved before expanding into the study of the ancient history that forms the foundation of Western Civilization. The study of Latin and the Classics is introduced in the third grade.
Uniforms are worn and discipline is always maintained as the students benefit from high academic standards.
