Eastern Washtenaw Multicultural Academy’s mission is to prepare students for participation in the global village of the 21st Century.  Nations are increasingly intertwined economically, but the real challenge is to build a sustainable world and true community of nations.  Elementary school is the starting point for developing thoughtful individuals who understand the world contains many cultures and points of view.  The uniqueness of EWMA is readily identifiable by its activity-oriented, multicultural focus, early foreign language study and mission-integrated technology programs.  Each element of the program is being introduced at the elementary level and will continue this year through the 9th grade.  EWMA is in it’s second year of operation with a new school building just completed last summer!
